A quaint & charming Knoxville elopement editorital featuring a vintage baby blue Volkswagen Beetle decked out in florals and some serious short wedding dress inspiration! If you have been dreaming about eloping or just love some fresh, new wedding inspiration – this post is for you!
If I were ever to elope, I would do two things. One, elope in Paris (or somewhere else in Europe) with my parents and in-laws. And two, wear a non-traditional shorter wedding dress. This was the inspiration for this quaint and charming Knoxville elopement editorial. While photographing this elopement in Paris wasn’t really an option for Austin and Leanne, our bride and groom, we still found some perfect spots in the Knoxville area to portray a whimsical feel. I love all the small details that made up this session: The lovely pearled cathedral veil paired with the mini lacey & ruffled wedding dress. The quirky vintage Volkswagen Beetle acting as the perfect little get-a-way car. The luscious, colorful floral bumper attachment on the car and the matching bridal bouquet. Even though it was just an elopement, all the details made such a beautiful impact.
And Austin and Leanne, our bride and groom, were such a wonderful delight! They completely trusted me with the images and were up for anything! Like sitting on the roof of the Beetle or prancing barefoot down a country road. The creative magic really happens for me when my bride and grooms throw the shot list out the window and really trust me as their photographer. This made my job loads more fun and easier photographing Austin and Leanne. They were just so easy-going and lots of fun! As you scroll through the images below, I think you’ll definitely be able to pick up on that as well.
