A lovely East TN intimate countryside wedding along the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
From the private vows to the llamas (yes, the llamas!), to a reception with lots of cotton candy, this was certainly a fun wedding! This East TN intimate countryside wedding was a small affair, but not short on love or character. Cesia & Josh married outdoors at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Greenville, TN on a beautiful, private property. They chose to fill their day with some of their favorite things like llamas for guests to pet and take pictures with, as well as cotton candy for everyone to snack on at “cocktail hour” at the reception. I loved how small and intimate it was for just close family and friends from both in-town and out-of-state to celebrate them! Cesia and Josh’s approach to their wedding day was simple & minimal. She did her own makeup, Josh got ready on his own in an airstream, and they did not have a wedding party. They spent a good amount of time before the ceremony exchanging their vows and just being together. (It also allowed us to have a good chunk of time to capture some gorgeous portraits!) It was just two people in love choosing to celebrate their union of one in the gorgeous countryside of East Tennessee. Their simple approach today was refreshing, and certainly did not affect how passionately everyone celebrated them and loved on them. I always have been and always will be a huge advocate for small, intimate weddings. I do still love getting to capture large weddings without a doubt! But weddings like Cesia & Josh’s make for some sort of fairytale magic. Their day was more than perfect!
Thank you for taking the time to browse through this lovely East TN intimate countryside wedding! You will have to check out this other micro, outdoor wedding here from earlier this year!
