Acadia National Park Family & Maternity Photos Along Maine’s stunning coastline.

Last September, my husband Robert and I took an unforgettable road trip to Acadia National Park in Maine with his family. It was such a special trip that it honestly deserves a blog post all its own! But today, I want to share one of my favorite parts of the week. I got to photograph my sister-in-law Sarah, her husband Paul, their sweet son Greyson, and documenting the anticipation of their second little boy. 

Sarah and Paul live in New Jersey, so we treasure every opportunity we get to spend time together. I grew up with three brothers and zero sisters, so I truly feel beyond blessed to have sisters-in-laws who truly do feel just like sisters! Every time we’re together it’s such a blast, and this trip to Maine was no exception! There was plenty of good conversations, laughter, and enough memories to keep us smiling long after we got home!

The trip was truly a family affair. Robert’s parents, another sister of his and her husband, plus Sarah, Paul, and Greyson all made the journey to Maine. We had plenty of good conversations, laughter, and enough memories to keep us smiling long after we got home! Since each family had their own campsites, we had the perfect balance of togetherness and our own space each evening. It really was the best of both worlds! 

Of course, I told Sarah there was no way we were leaving Maine without taking family portraits! We found the most beautiful spot along the rocky coastline. The waves so perfectly crashed against the shore, creating the most gorgeous backdrop. It was everything you picture when you think of the Maine coast. Rugged cliffs, salty ocean air, and breathtaking views in every direction. 

As breathtaking as the scenery was, my favorite part of this Acadia National Park family session was getting to document such a sweet and exciting season for people who mean so much to me.
