A Romantic East TN Countryside Winter Engagement Session at Heartland Meadows Wedding Venue

This engagement session for Lucita and Josh is definitely one of my favorites! For starters, it was Lucita and Josh! I was beyond honored when these dear friends took me on as their wedding photographer! They are a couple just full of warmth and so down to earth. You will be able to tell from the images.

Secondly, their location of choice (their wedding venue, Heartland Meadows) was beautiful and full of rolling hills. From the large meadows to the rustic dirt roads, Heartland Meadows created the perfect ethereal backdrop for their session. We were able to roam and explore the grounds. Lucita and Josh also fully embraced the winter weather. They sported the coziest yet very stylish winter coats! I loved them! I told them they looked like they belonged in a Ralph Lauren campaign set in Colorado, which was a compliment!

Their wedding is coming up in May, and to say I’m excited would be an understatement! I know with Lucita’s creative touch and unique eye for style, it is going to be a delight for me to photograph! But beyond that, their wedding will be so special to be a part of. They have so much love for the Lord and a high value for marriage and what it represents. Their Knoxville wedding will not just be an overly curated party or shin-dig; it truly will be a celebration and joining of two by God, which is the sole purpose of a wedding. That is what marriage was created for in the first place, to be a beautiful picture to the world of Christ and His bride, which He died for, the church.
